Established in 1960, Maor & Co is an experienced Israeli family owned law firm. After 60 years of operation, the firm expended its activities and established its presence in the USA. 

We hold extensive experience providing legal services for our clients. Our Israeli office offers legal services in real-estate transactions, legal counseling for businesses and corporations, litigation in all Israeli jurisdictions, wills, trusts and estates, contract drafting and negotiations, trademark registration and trademark litigation, and more. 

Our Bostonian office provides legal services mainly for two types of clients: The first are America-based companies and individuals, who seek an easier access for legal representation in Israel, The second are Israeli companies and individuals who are in need for legal services in the United States. Other than transactional services, our Bostonian office offers LLC formation services and LLC dissolution services, in most States. 

Our History

Maor & Co was established in 1960, by the late attorney Nahum Feldman.

Nahum Feldman was born in Poland, studied in a Hebrew school there and acquired a Zionist education. He was a holocaust survivor, and his entire family was murdered by the Nazis. He tried to move to Israel illegally, but was deported by the British to Cyprus, where he spent a couple of years. During his stay in Cyprus he was actively educating and teaching adults. In 1949 he finally came to Israel, and immediately joined the IDF. Simultaneously, he was drafted as a teacher in Ben Shemen school. When he was released from the army, Nahum Feldman started his law studies. He saw his main purpose in life in teaching about the holocaust, under the slogan "To remember and never forget". 

As an attorney, Nahum Feldman served as the secretary of the Israeli Bar Association. He did a lot of pro bono litigation work. 

In 1975, Nahum Feldman's son in law, attorney Yehuda Maor, joined his law firm. In 1987, Nahum Feldman passed away, leaving Yehuda Maor as the sole partner. 

In the beginning of the 21st century, attorney Lior Maor and attorney Tomer Maor joined the team, first as paralegals and later as attorneys. 

Since its early days, in the 1960s, the firm has been practicing the civil-commercial law. Throughout the years, the firm knew how to evolve and adjust its practice areas, even in the high-tech industry. 

For years the firm was located in the city area of Tel Aviv, and in 2015 it moved to its current Israeli location, in the heart of the high-tech area of Ramat Hahayal, Tel Aviv. This new location symbolizes the evolution in the firm's practice areas. 

In 2021 the firm became international and the US activity began. The Greater Boston Area is home for many Israelis and Israeli companies, and has a very wide Israeli community.
